THE CHALLENGE

Fuszion Collaborative's 2001 Holiday Party was also an open house and a clothing drive for the needy. Fuszion came to us to create a dynamic online invitation that would closely match the design of the printed version. The online invite would also function as a RSVP form for the guests.

THE SOLUTION

We worked with Fuszion Collaborative to create the Macromedia Flash version of the invitation. While Fuszion supplied all the art and graphics, we wrote the Action Script that would drive the back-end of the online form. We the animated snowflakes that lazily drift down the screen as the guests RSVP. If the guest submitted their name, email address, and number of guests correctly, they would be greeted with the middle screen shot to the right. If there was an error with the email address, or the name field was left blank, the bottom screen would appear, giving the guest another chance complete the form. Since the purpose was to create a list of expected attendees, on completion of the form, a confirmation email message was sent to both Fuszion Collaborative and to the guest.
